Last year, Shopify announced its plans to evolve Shopify Unite into a series of events held in cities around the world. The company expressed enthusiasm about gathering with the community, but also acknowledged the limitation of being unable to reach everyone due to logistical constraints.

Simultaneously, Shopify introduced Shopify Editions, a platform that consolidated the significant product updates for its ecosystem. Through this new digital experience, users were given the opportunity to interact with these updates at their convenience, regardless of their location.
